Christmas Day

We spent all day on Christmas at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Thankfully the weather changed and instead of freezing rain we just had rain. And while we still had quite a bit of snow in Lynden, it had pretty much all melted in Bellingham and we were able to get out and about without any difficulty.

Our original plan had been to have an adult Christmas earlier in the week, but that was rescheduled to this day, so we had all sorts of presents to open and food to eat. Grandma had some little activities to help keep the kids entertained as well. Everyone loved their gifts and we had such a good time!

All the kids had an elf...each box was filled with all their other presents, each individually wrapped!

All the kids opened their presents at the same time. It was chaos and super fun!

Eyes closed waiting for a surprise!

We did the traditional 'family photos on the stairs' but apparently I didn't take any. Once I get some from Ben I'll update here. Otherwise, it appears I was too busy enjoying myself to take too many other pictures. But once again, we were reminded of how blessed we are and how amazing it is to have family to celebrate the birth of Jesus with.
