We decided to make a summer trip to California to visit Grandpa and Grandma, so on Sunday we left our house about 4:00 am and drove down to Seattle to catch an 8:00 flight to Fresno. We thought for sure that the girls would sleep in the car and maybe even on the plane, but we were wrong! They were too excited to sleep! The airport in Seattle was rather chaotic and I had to try three separate kiosks to get all of our boarding passes and luggage tags printed while Kyle stood in line just in case I couldn't get it to work. We finally got it, made it through a rather long line at security (which moved remarkably fast!) and arrived at our gate 15 minutes before it was time to board!
We arrived in Fresno right on time and Grandpa and Grandma were there to pick us up! We headed back to their house, ate lunch, had a little rest time and then jumped in the pool to cool off. Annaliese has been super excited to swim and could not wait to get in the pool!

Not so sure about the Minnie Mouse goggles! |
|
Annaliese liked the idea of goggles more than actually wearing them...even though they are Elsa and Anna goggles! |
Since Sunday was Father's Day, we headed over to Uncle Jon and Auntie Sarah's house for dinner. Jon's side of the family was also there so we were able to celebrate all the dad's together! Annaliese and Haleigh had so much fun playing with their cousins! Reed and Kieren have two other cousins, Lyla and Zach who were there. Lyla is almost the same age as Haleigh and Zach is Lydia's age.

Lydia and Zach (they were born 3 days apart!) |

The best pic we could get of the three of them on the cough together! |

Auntie Sarah made some delicious peach cobbler for dessert! |
