3 Months!

And the time continues to fly by! Lydia Megan is already 3 months old! She has an amazing smile, is super attentive, and loves to talk! Annaliese and Haleigh still love her and are usually very good with her.

Sleeping: We have started to get a bit more of a routine when it comes to sleeping. Lydia will usually take a good afternoon nap in her crib if we are home and will go to bed for the night between 9:00-10:00. I have stopped nursing her during the night; if she wakes up, I usually just give her her pacifier and she falls right back asleep. She will sleep until 7:30-8:00 in the morning! In fact, when we have to bring Annaliese to school, I usually have to wake her up in order to feed her and get everyone ready on time! We still swaddle her in a swaddle sack and then wrap her in a blanket to keep her warm enough.

Eating: She eats like a champ! I nurse her about every 3 hours, give or take. We've tried a bottle a few times and she does okay with that...she's just pretty slow! I'm sure she'll get the hang of it once I return back to work! (That's not until January though!) Annaliese is very excited to help with feeding her!

Clothes: Everything is still 3 months, although some of it seems to be getting a little snug. I don't think it will be too much longer until we have to move into some of the 6 month stuff, or at least find the 3-6 month things. Diapers are now size 2.

Activities: Lydia loves to see what is going on; she is usually pretty content to sit up on the couch where she can see what's happening. She also does pretty well with tummy time, loves taking baths, being naked and cuddling with daddy.

She has discovered her hands, is able to use her arm to push her pacifier back into her mouth, and likes to hold onto things. We've also started using the Bumbo so she can see what's going on.
