For the past 7 years, we’ve met up with the Feffer’s and Prentice’s for a weekend get together. We’ve gone camping, stayed at one of our houses, or met up somewhere in between at a VRBO. This year we rented a house in Klamath Falls, OR which is almost right in the middle of where we all live. Our group is made up of 6 adults and 9 kids, ranging in ages from 7 1/2 years old down to 16 months! It’s always so fun to see how well all the kids get along with each other, even though they see each other once a year!
This year, we filled our time with a morning at the local park, a walk down the River trail, playing pool in the basement and hanging out in the hot tub. We had good fun, good wine, and a great time catching up with one another.
We all arrived on Thursday afternoon/evening and spent the evening settling into the house. Friday morning, we headed to Moore Park, which is a fantastic park that was just down the street.

On Saturday, we contemplated driving up to Crater Lake, but decided it was just a bit too much driving to add to a trip where we are all already spending a significant amount of time driving! Instead, we opted to walk the Link River Trail, which goes along the Klamath River.

The rest of our time was spent at the house; this house had a pool table, a hot tub, and Alexa...which kept the kids entertained for hours!

Unfortunately, about half of us got sick on the way home, but despite that, I think I can safely say we all had a good time! It's been such a blessing to keep these friendships going and we are already planning our trip for next summer!
