Twelve! I can't hardly believe this is the last year before we have a teenager in the house! Annaliese has been growing so much lately and she is such a delightful person to be around.
Annaliese loves playing basketball and soccer, and it's been really fun to watch her improve in both sports this year. She continues to play the saxophone in the school band and is getting pretty good! It's fun to listen to her practice (most of the time!) and we're looking forward to the first band concert of the year this week. Annaliese is still taking piano lessons as well and her dedication to practicing is paying off.
Annaliese is a good student, studies hard, and likes to do well. Her teachers had great things to say about her when I went to parent-teacher conferences a few weeks ago! She's a good listener, always does what is asked, is friendly, and a joy to have in class!
At home, she fills her free time with reading and playing Legos. She loves Nancy Drew, just finished the entire Harry Potter series, and is constantly looking for new series to read! She is also creative, likes creating PowerPoint presentations, and is very thoughtful. She is confident, and competitive, and I love watching her learn, grow, and discover her passions!
