Happy Halloween 2016

We started our Halloween celebrations on Saturday by going to Redeemer Lutheran Church, where Grandma Tara works, for their Trunk-or-Treat event. It rained hard all day long but, thankfully, the rain stopped and the sun came out just in time for the event! Everyone had fun dressing up, eating a few snacks, making a few crafts, and playing a few games! The girls dressed up as The Three Little Pigs...they each wore a pink tutu, pink leggings, and pig ears. The pig noses were optional:) Annaliese had a basket of straw, Haleigh's candy basket was decorated with bricks, and Lydia had a bunch of sticks to complete the costume!

We continued our Halloween festivities on Halloween by hosting a Glow Station with our small group from church. Church provides glow sticks, candy and hot chocolate and encourages people to hand out candy in their neighborhood. There was a great turnout and we all had a good time together!

The girls were excited to wear their Three Little Pigs costumes again and they came home with a good supply of candy. Annaliese has already asked when we get to do it again!
