As is the case every year, school wraps up with a flurry of activities.
Both the middle school and the elementary school have Field Day and I was able to be a team leader for Lydia's team. They had 10 different stations that we went through, with games ranging from tag to water balloons to obstacle courses. The weather was perfect and everyone had fun! In the middle school, they do running events (like 100m dash, hurdles, and relays) as well as field events (like cornhole, paper airplane throwing, bocce ball, and soccer accuracy.)

The following weekend, Annaliese participated in a local 3v3 soccer tournament with Esme and a few of Esme's friends. This is the third year that Annaliese and Esme have done this tournament and this is the first year that they've won a game!! They played really well and ended up winning two games and tying the third!
The last day of school was Thursday, June 5.

We kicked off summer vacation with the Farmer's Day Parade in Lynden. This is the first year that LC has ever had a marching band! The middle school and high school band marched together and they did a great job!

In our first week of break, we fit in strawberry picking, playdates with friends, craft time at Grandmas, and Edaleen's for ice cream!
