Spring Break

We staying around home for Spring Break this year. I signed all three girls up for swimming lessons every day, and I am happy to say that they all went really well! We made it to the park and few times and wrapped up the week with a trip to Grandview Heights Aquatic Center in Canada to practice all the newly learned swimming skills! It was so amazing to see Haleigh and Lydia put their face underwater and actually play in the water!

Here are a few pictures from the week, in no particular order!

Edaleens for ice cream on our way back from Canada...I promised the girls waffle cones if they learned how to swim!

Haleigh jumping into the pool at swimming lessons.

Lydia's turn to jump in!

Asian One for dinner, after spending the afternoon at Cordata Park

Annaliese had a friend (Emma) spend the night...the girls all decided to go for a walk. Shelby is patiently waiting for them to come back!

Even though we didn't go anywhere, we all really enjoyed this Spring Break. It was the perfect amount of fun and activity without being too busy. And when Monday morning rolled around, everyone was ready for school!

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was beautiful and we made sure to enjoy every bit of it!

Saturday we headed out for a family hike on the Gold Mine Trail. We've done it once before, but this time we were able to go a little bit farther. We didn't ever find the mine, but we did make it to the cabin!

Soaking in a little sun...this was by the cabin

Sunday we headed to church for breakfast, followed by the service and then an egg hunt and petting zoo (a CrossPoint tradition!)

Sunny day!

Lydia and Annaliese are holding baby chicks!

Breakfast with church friends!

Because it was such a sunny day (although still a little chilly) we headed out to Birch Bay for the afternoon.

Those are two bald eagles up in the tree!

It was a fun relaxing weekend. We are so blessed to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior and to live with the hope of eternal life!
